Draftelligence was founded by Richard Bruijn: 20+ years of engineering in machine building and food processing equipment.
Background
Employed in engineering roles from 2005 to 2013, independent since 2013, eventually building an own engineering firm with a team of multidisciplinary engineers. The common thread: machine building, food processing equipment and translating concepts into production.
Why Draftelligence
Machine builders do not get stuck on a lack of ideas, but on a lack of drawing capacity and structured handover. Hiring another freelancer solves that temporarily; a system with fixed intake, QA control and delivery states solves it structurally. That system is Draftelligence.
Tools
SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD as the base; Fusion 360 where it fits. Output in neutral formats (STEP, DXF, DWG, PDF), so you are never tied to our software.
How we use AI
AI supports intake, checks and documentation — it speeds up the work and makes it more consistent. Every engineering decision, every dimension and every release remains human work. No AI hype, just a tighter, better-documented process.
