Missing dimensions, tolerances or requirements are recorded as assumptions or open items.

The assumptions log with everything we assume and why.

Confirmation or correction of the recorded assumptions.
Quote
What happens
You receive a quote with scope, deliverables, turnaround and price.
What you see
A quote with fixed deliverables per delivery.
What we need
Your approval of the quote.
CAD production
What happens
We model and draw according to the agreed scope and your standards.
What you see
Status IN PRODUCTION, with interim alignment on open items.
What we need
Quick responses to questions that affect progress.
Internal QA
What happens
An engineer runs through the full Definition of Done checklist.

Status QA REVIEW.

Nothing — this is our internal check.
Client review
What happens
You receive the delivery for review, including the assumptions log.

Revision
What happens
Feedback is processed as a numbered revision with updated documentation.

Status REVISION and an updated delivery.

Unambiguous feedback, preferably bundled.
Final delivery

After approval we deliver all files in the agreed formats.

Status READY, with source files and final documentation.

Archive
What happens
The project is archived so revisions remain traceable later.

A closed project with a traceable history.
What we need
Nothing — you can always come back to an archived project.
The assumptions-log principle
Anything we are not certain about is recorded as an assumption — with the reasoning attached. Assumptions are presented to you and confirmed before final delivery. Production knows exactly what the drawing is based on, and silent interpretations never happen.
